The astronaut figure in a spacesuit invites children to create their own stories about exploring a distant planet and searching for rare minerals.
The blue-and-white train with cargo wagons travels along the track, transporting the collected orange minerals to the space laboratory.
The scenic track, featuring a modeled rocky landscape and orange crystals, gives the railway set an impressive atmosphere of a distant planet.
The BRIO World Space Exploration Railway Set brings classic train play to life with an original space theme. Children can assemble the track, send the astronaut into the rocky landscape and use the magnetic spacesuit to collect rare orange minerals. The loaded cargo then travels in the wagons back for further research.
Playing with the railway set supports imagination, creative thinking, problem-solving and an understanding of cause and effect. Handling the tracks, figure and accessories also helps develop fine motor skills.
