The ORP Dzik model was created in cooperation with the Polish Naval Museum in Gdynia, which supports a faithful depiction of the silhouette, proportions, and markings of the submarine in the collectible 1:300 scale.
The set includes an elegant display stand with a collector’s plaque, thanks to which the model stands out in a display case or on a shelf and easily fits into the COBI 1:300 submarine series.
All markings are done with long-lasting prints directly on the bricks (no stickers). In addition, you get a plaque with the historic Jolly Roger flag, typical of the tradition of the “Terrible Twins” submarines.
ORP Dzik ("Wild Boar") is among the best-known Polish submarines of World War II. COBI has faithfully recreated it as a compact model in 1:300 scale, designed as part of a coherent series of historical vessels in the same scale. Thanks to cooperation with the Polish Naval Museum in Gdynia, you build a model with an emphasis on historical accuracy, proportions, and the characteristic silhouette.
Included is a display stand with a collector’s plaque and also a plaque with the historic pirate flag Jolly Roger, which refers to the tradition of the Polish “Terrible Twins” (ORP Sokół and ORP Dzik). The model is great as decoration as well as a base for your own play scenarios and dioramas.
