Charge 1–6 Li‑ion cells simultaneously. Each slot is controlled separately, so you can combine different cell sizes and capacities and keep track of the charging status for each channel individually.
Microprocessor-controlled charging uses the TC phase (waking under-discharged cells), CC (constant current) and CV (top-off to 4.2 V). Charging ends at the right moment for better cell condition.
External power via the 5 V / 3 A input helps reduce heating during charging. The charger has short-circuit, over-temperature and reverse-polarity protection and supports reactivation of deeply discharged cells (including 0 V, if not damaged).
XTAR MC6C is a fully professional microprocessor charger in a small body, designed for simultaneous charging of 1 to 6 Li‑ion cells. Each slot operates independently and the electronics control the entire process using the TC/CC/CV method so the cell is charged with the correct current in each phase and charging ends at the correct moment.
Supported cell sizes (Li‑ion 3.6/3.7 V):
14500, 14650, 16340, 17500, 17670, 18350, 18500, 18650, 18700. It is also possible to charge 2× 20700 and 21700 cells (only unprotected), 22650, 25500, 26650 or 32650 (32650 only with a flat positive terminal).
How TC/CC/CV works:
The charger can reactivate deeply discharged cells, including cells with 0 V voltage (if they are not irreversibly damaged). Thanks to power from an external supply, during charging the cell temperature typically increases by a maximum of about 15 °C. The package includes a USB cable (A → round connector 5.5 × 2.1 mm); the power adapter is not included. For use, a common USB charger is sufficient; recommended 3 A, minimum 2 A. Note: the batteries in the photos are not included.
