The Komodo dragon is the largest lizard inhabiting the Indonesian islands. Its typical features include a long tail (approximately the same length as the body), a yellow tongue, and up to 60 teeth in its mouth. Thanks to its size, it feeds on mammals, reptiles, birds, and invertebrates; the largest adults can even handle deer, wild boar, or buffalo, and after a large meal they can go without food for weeks. They prefer warm and dry places.
This Safari Ltd. figurine is great for free play at home and on the go, for visual demonstrations in education, or as part of a collection. It’s easy to incorporate into games with other toys and creative activities.
