Falling Astronaut – Launching Rocket is an original variation of classic “pick-up sticks” that entertains both kids and adults. Insert the colored sticks into the holes in the rocket, place the astronauts from the top so they catch on the sticks, and then, according to the color drawn on the spinning roulette, try to pull out the correct stick without making the astronauts fall down.
The game is great for practicing fine motor skills, concentration, and strategy. The winner is the player who ends up with the fewest fallen astronauts.
How to play:
- Insert the colored sticks into the holes in the rocket.
- “Drop” the astronauts in from the top so they catch on the sticks (if one falls to the base, put it back in from the top).
- The youngest player starts. Take turns spinning the roulette and pulling out a stick of the drawn color.
- The fallen astronaut is taken by the player whose turn it is. At the end, the one with the fewest wins.
