This unusually looking theropod dinosaur with large claws (up to over 1 meter) and arms about 2.4 to 3.5 meters long (similar to the genus Deinocheirus) lived about 70 million years ago in the Late Cretaceous in what is now Mongolia. It is likely that therizinosaurus also had feathers on parts of its body, similar to its related beipiaosaurus.
The figure is made of plastic and, thanks to the 24 cm size, fits well in the hand; it is suitable for play, display, and as an addition to other dinosaurs.
