Didactic cards inspired by the Montessori method for sensory education, which help children gain clear and conscious perceptions of their surroundings through their own experience. They support exploration, observation, and working with the senses during the sensitive period when children are most open to developing perception.
Sensory learning based on one’s own experience

Sensory learning based on one’s own experience

The cards support the Montessori principle: the child learns primarily by observing and exploring on their own. They help develop perception and concentration when working with sensory stimuli.

Clear visual stimuli for developing perception

Simple and high-contrast motifs help the child focus attention, compare, and perceive differences – suitable for calm, independent work.

Colored elements for sorting and distinguishing

Colored elements for sorting and distinguishing

Colored dots/markings can be used in activities focused on distinguishing, matching, and working with colors within sensory education.

The goal of sensory education is to give the child the opportunity to obtain clear and conscious information from the environment thanks to their senses – and thus enable them to get to know their surroundings and the world more deeply and accurately. Marie Montessori believed that a child perceives with all their senses from birth. With their senses, the child becomes familiar with their surroundings, studies them, and thanks to these insights then begins to understand them as well – the child is a kind of “sensory explorer”.

Children do not learn by us telling them something, but primarily through their own experiences – by being able to “touch” things and explore independently. Children are most open to developing their senses approximately from 2 to 6 years, and it is precisely during this period that it is very important to give them as many opportunities as possible to develop all of their senses.
