Each player lays down number sequences from 1 to 10 while at the same time trying to get rid of their own Ligretto pile as quickly as possible. Cards of the same color are built up in ascending order in the middle of the table, so the game has a fast pace and requires sharp perception and quick reactions.
Individual colored Ligretto sets can be combined with each other to create a larger game for up to 12 participants (by combining multiple sets). The rules clearly define the goal, course of play, and scoring – each round is brisk and, thanks to the variable card order, also highly replayable.
